OIL SPILL...State agencies will host in St. Petersburg the second of two public meetings on the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council release of its draft Initial comprehensive plan. The plan describes the council’s objectives, the selection process and the evaluation criteria for the types of ecosystem restoration projects and programs that will be funded by the council with settlement fines involving the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The meeting will be held at Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Fish and Wildlife Research Institute, 100 Eighth Ave. SE.
