MEDICAL MARIJUANA… The Department of Health’s Office of Compassionate Use will be holding another workshop to discuss the newly-released rules for the state’s Charlotte’s Web law. The meeting begins at 8 a.m. in room 301 of the Florida Department of Health. More information can be found here.

SCHOOLS… The state's Revenue Estimating Conference discusses school construction revenue 9 a.m. Monday in room 117 of the Knott building. A second meeting will take place 9 a.m. Friday in the same room.

MAJOR TRUST FUNDS… State economists of the Revenue Estimating Conference review the Educational Enhance Trust Fund, the State School Trust Fund and the Tobacco Settlement Trust Fund 11 a.m. Monday in room 117 of the Knott building.

TRANSPORTATION… The Florida Transportation Commission will review the commission’s tentative work program and receive commentary on that plan from Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Jim Boxold. The meeting will be held from 1 p.m to 5 p.m. in the Burns Auditorium at 605 Suwannee Street in Tallahassee.

CIVIL JUSTICE… The Florida Commission on Access to Civil Justice will meet from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Florida Supreme Court’s Executive Conference Center at 500 South Duval Street in Tallahassee. For more information, call Francine Walker at 1-800-342-8060, ext. 5762.

PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES… The House Rules, Calendar & Ethics Committee takes up a bill 4 p.m. Monday in room 404 of the House building to move the date of the presidential primary to March 15, 2016. A Senate plan will be taken up 4 p.m. Wednesday in room 412 of the Knott building by the Ethics and Elections Committee.

SESSION… Tuesday marks the first day of the legislative session. Gov. Rick Scott will give his State of the State address 11 a.m. in front of both chambers.

COLLEGE… The Education Estimating Conference discusses Florida colleges 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in room 117 of the Knott building.

PROPERTY… The legislative Revenue Estimating Conference takes up ad valorem, or property, taxes 9 a.m. Wednesday in room 117 of the Knott building.

KIDCARE… The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services takes up SB 294 to eliminate a five-year waiting period for immigrants to join the state’s health insurance program for children 10 a.m. Wednesday in room 401 of the Senate building.

MEDICAID EXPANSION… The Senate Healthy Policy Committee hears a presentation on the private sector Medicaid expansion plan -- A Healthy Florida Works -- in room 412 of the Knott building at 1:30 p.m.

MEDICAID… The Social Services Estimating Conference talks about long term expenditures 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in room 117 of the Knott building.
