Cabinet approves new FPL nukes, leaving south Miami-Dade County cities planning appeal

Despite arguments from cities in Miami-Dade County that state law requires their land-use regulations to be taken into consideration, the Cabinet on Tuesday approved a nuclear power plant expansion in Miami-Dade County and associated transmission lines for Florida Power & Light Co.
