DEP wants Feds to 'employ ... flexibilities' with Lake Okeechobee discharges

With last year's discharges from Lake Okeechobee still on the minds of state officials, Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Herschel T. Vinyard Jr. is asking a federal agency to review operational manuals and employ flexibility heading into another summer rainy season.
