Ban on impact fees removed from economic development bill, up for Senate vote

A House economic development bill was rewritten in the Senate on Thursday to remove a three-year ban on local road construction and impact fees.

HB 7023 would increase tax credits for companies hiring in rural areas, funnel development grants to small cities and direct Space Florida to consult with Visit Florida to develop a space tourism marketing plan.
