Telemedicine bill giving insurers an option in the works

Rep. Travis Cummings, R-Orange Park, is expected to file a bill Monday or Tuesday aimed at easing a physician shortage in Florida. Cummings said he’s received indication from House leadership that his proposal will be the House’s telemedicine vehicle for the 2014 legislative session.
