Florida expected to finally get its Medicaid waiver

After 18 months of negotiations and more than a half dozen temporary extensions Florida is poised to received final five-year approval of a sweeping Medicaid waiver.

The Agency for Health Care Administration has been notified by the federal government that the waiver is imminent, spokeswoman Shelisha Coleman said.
