Gov. Rick Scott formally received the 2014-2015 fiscal year budget (HB 5001) Tuesday, starting the 15-day clock for him to decide upon line-item vetoes.
The $77.1 billion election-year spending plan is 3.5 percent larger than the current budget; Scott’s vetoes trimmed $386 million from it last year.
