Florida’s unemployment rate slides to 10.3 percent

Florida’s unemployment rate fell to 10.3 percent in October, down 0.3 percent from September and the lowest in more than two years. More than 106,000 jobs have been added since January.

The state still faces an uphill battle before job figures return to pre-recession levels, as 955,000 people remain out of work.
