Developers were back this year asking the Legislature to address growth management again after county attorneys said 2011 law changes didn't apply to some counties with mobility fee systems. Lawmakers also had more resources this year to deal with the backlog of foreclosure cases.
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection holds a rule adoption hearing on the statewide environmental resource permit and the Florida Supreme Court will hear arguments in the Legislature's request to throw out a challenge to the Senate districts the Legislature created in 2012.
