Telemedicine was the top issue brought up during Thursday House floor discussion of an omnibus medical bill that will be up for a Friday vote.
HB 7113 was filed as a proposal that would ensure the continued operation of three HCA-run centers opposed by non-profit hospitals that argue they are a strain on resources and unnecessary. The HCA trauma centers also are facing a court challenge.
