Putnam's energy tax cut would divert less to PECO

A bill containing Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam's request for an energy tax cut on businesses cleared its first committee stop on Tuesday. 

During the meeting, Putnam told the Senate Committee on Communications, Energy and Public Utilities that a review of renewable energy tax breaks approved in 2012 showed there was a substantial economic impact. However, there's been little interest in a technology sales tax program.
