Senators wrangle with industry, utility groups over draft springs legislation

Senators supporting draft springs legislation on Tuesday interrupted representatives of utilities and industry groups to press them for ways their langauge could be improved.

"I'm just bursting at the seam about the enthusiasm and the give-and-take," Sen. Charlie Dean, R-Inverness and a supporter of the draft legislation, told the 12 or so lobbyists meeting in the Capitol.
