Judge lifts stay of order blocking enforcement of 'net ban' amendment

Circuit Judge Jackie Fulford on Wednesday granted a motion by mullet fishermen to lift a stay of her order last week in which she said state net fishing laws were being unfairly enforced.

An attorney representing the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission told the judge that taking such action "will unleash a war of epic proportions" on the state's mullet fishery.
