Legislative leaders call for ethics and elections improvements

Legislative leaders agreed Wednesday that raising ethical standards in Florida's Capitol and fixing the state's voting systems will be top priorities in the 2013 session.

"Congress has a 9 percent approval rating and I think ours is al title better than that," Senate President Don Gaetz said. "Moammar Gadhafi had a 14 percent approval rating when his people killed him. We really need to raise the standard of public trust."
