The House has decided to double down on the Senate’s plan to take a year to review Florida’s quixotic gambling laws before developing a comprehensive bill ahead of the 2014 legislative session.
House Speaker Will Weatherford, R-Wesley Chapel, announced Monday the formation of a House Select Committee on Gaming, similar to a panel in the Senate created this year by Senate President Don Gaetz, R-Niceville.
