Chamber legislative priorities draw mixed reaction from environmentalists

The Florida Chamber of Commerce's proposed legislative priorities on environmental issues are being met with mixed reaction from environmentalists.

The chamber on Wednesday promoted its priorities on business issues during a press conference outside the House chambers. Among those priorities were increasing funding for water supply projects, adding water conservation to the list of approved projects for local sales taxes and preventing the federal government from pre-empting "state water quality values."
