Judge dismisses political payback claim but says Cabinet must prove valid offer

A circuit court judge in Leon County said Tuesday for the Cabinet to acquire a Tallahassee law office, it must show that it offered the same deal that was struck with a lawyer and outspoken critic of Gov. Rick Scott.
