Groups representing doctors who prescribe and dispense drugs to workers' compensation claimants clashed with a national workers' compensation group Wednesday over whether the Legislature should cap costs for repackaged drugs.
During a meeting of regulators, representatives for the National Council on Compensation Insurance pushed for the cap, saying it could result in a decrease of workers’ compensation rates of up to 1.1 percent.
