Outgoing Indiana State Superintendent Tony Bennett is Florida's new Commissioner of Education.

Indiana’s former state school superintendent is Florida’s new education commissioner. The State Board of Education selected Tony Bennett Wednesday at a meeting in Tampa. Bennett lost a bid last month to be reelected as Indiana's superintendent.
