Sen. Alan Hays, R-Umatilla, was prepared when he arrived in Tallahassee for the one-day organizational session this week. The newly re-elected lawmaker filed four bills for the spring legislative session.
“I have a hard-working staff that makes me look good,” Hays said, laughing when reached by phone Wednesday.
