Sales of existing single-family homes rose 25.3 percent in October, and the median sales prices jumped up as well, climbing 9 percent over October 2011 to $145,000, according to a report released Monday by Florida Realtors.
Year-over-year home sales have gone up for seven consecutive months, and year-over-year median sales prices have gone up for 10 straight months. Condominium sales increased 16.4 percent and the median sales price rose 20.2 percent to $107,000.
