GOP loses state Senate supermajority

Senate President-designate Don Gaetz, R-Niceville, beamed with satisfaction Tuesday night as Republicans held on to a healthy majority in the Florida Senate.  Although Democrats did pick up two additional seats, the Republicans will hold a 26-to-14 advantage for the next two years.
