After weeks of meeting with students, teachers, parents and school administrators, Gov. Rick Scott is set to announce his "College and Career First" education plan for the 2013 legislative session.
The governor told Capitol reporters Tuesday he will disclose details in a speech Thursday in Fort Myers. But he gave a preview of some ideas that grew out of his "listening tour" of the state last month and other consultations with Floridians involved in education.
