Ethics and consumer advocacy groups want Gov. Rick Scott to pressure Citizens Property Insurance Corp. to rethink its decision to disband the Office of Corporate Integrity.
Sean Shaw, founder of the consumer advocacy group Policyholders of Florida, and Dan Krassner, executive director of the Integrity Florida ethics watchdog group, penned a letter to Scott on Monday asking him to expand the scope of an ongoing investigation into Citizens executives’ travel spending to include the firing of four members of the Office of Corporate Integrity.
