Clemens wins in court, Bernard concedes

Rep. Jeff Clemens captured the Democratic nomination for Senate District 27 by a 17-vote margin.

State Rep. Jeff Clemens has successfully defended his victory in the Democratic primary for Senate District 27.  Rep. Mack Bernard conceded the election after the 1st District Court of Appeals upheld a lower court decision that the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections  could reject a number of absentee ballots because the signatures on the ballot did not match the voters’ signatures on file.
