Board delays action on immigration suit

The state Board of Education delayed a decision on whether to appeal a judge’s ruling that would require in-state tuition rates for Florida residents who are dependent children of illegal immigrants. U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore last month sided with five students who argued current policy violates the equal protection clause of the U.S. Constitution.
