State pension's assumptions may change

Florida has an adequate amount of money in its public workers' pension fund, but state economists are not comfortable with the assumptions that determine the fund’s solvency. The group of economists who meet as the Economic and Demographic Research Conference want to rework the four assumptions behind the calculations used to determine the fund’s health.
