Governor repeats school improvement pledge

Gov. Rick Scott used a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a charter school Wednesday to continue to push his plan to improve education. 

Throughout last week’s listening tour of meetings with administrators, teachers and parents Scott said he wants schools to prepare students for a career or college. Wednesday, after speaking to students at Governors Charter Academy in Tallahassee, Scott pledged his utmost effort in regards to funding public schools.
