Board of Governors seeks incentives for universities

The Florida Board of Governors will request a $118 million budget increase from the Legislature as part of an effort to hold public universities more accountable. Meeting in Fort Myers on Thursday, governors approved a proposal to develop a plan to create performance-based incentives for the State University System.
