An organization working to deny three Florida Supreme Court justices new terms on the high bench began barnstorming through nine cities Tuesday, touting a "report card" that flunked all three members on some major issues.
Jesse Phillips, head of Restore Justice 2012, conceded that his initial tour is pitched to tea party and other conservative organizations -- the kind of voters likely to be more amenable to an anti-incumbency message. He said the "activist judges" label appeals to voters who are wary of lawyers in general and their wealthy political organizations in particular.
