* The Tampa Bay Times took a look at the money raised by political candidates, parties and committees from June 24 to 30. A total $12.8 million was raised. The Republican Party of Florida pulled in $1.2 million, nearly ten times as much as the Florida Democratic Party’s $235,000 haul. Gov. Rick Scott’s campaign committee Let’s Get to Work drew in $255,500.
