DOH appoints chief of staff

Kim Barnhill has been appointed chief of staff of the Florida Department of Health, according to a Friday news release from DOH. She will start July 25.  Prior to her promotion she was DOH’s director of Statewide Services since 2000, providing management for all 67 county health departments in the state. Her annual salary has been $103,976. In her new role, Barnhill will supervise the Offices of Legislative Planning, Communications, and Performance Improvement.
