A federal judge Wednesday rejected a U.S. Department of Justice request to block Florida’s purge of ineligible voters from its rolls. U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle said a provision in the law prohibiting a systematic removal of names within 90 days of an election does not apply to noncitizens.
