Cell phones have become the latest campaign fundraising tool since the Federal Elections Commission ruled Monday that citizens may text message donations to political campaigns.
“I think it is a great ruling,” said Sen. Mike Fasano, R-New Port Richey, now a candidate for the District 36 state House seat. Fasano said the ruling has the potential to encourage more citizen involvement in political campaigns.
