One of three major credit rating agencies reaffirmed Florida's 'AAA' credit rating on Wednesday, but also kept its outlook listed as negative.
A statement released Wednesday by Fitch Ratings includes some of the earliest independent assessments of Florida's fiscal standing in the wake of the recently concluded legislative session and a court ruling against mandatory employee contributions to the state's retirement fund, which lawmakers passed last year.
