The Florida Supreme Court heard arguments Tuesday on the constitutionality of term limits for county commissioners.
Broward County residents in 2000 approved an amendment to the county charter limiting commissioners to four three-year terms. Resident William Telli is challenging the limits, arguing the state constitution does not give counties the authority to set them.
