Sea level rise is expected to undermine private ownership of coastal property and could touch off increasing battles over property rights, a Vermont Law School professor told a Tallahassee audience on Wednesday.
And Florida by far is the most vulnerable state to sea level rise, The New York Times reported on Wednesday. An analysis shows that about half of the nation's 3.7 million people who are at risk of more frequent coastal flooding live in this state.
