Federal officials deny medical loss ratio exemption requests from 2 states

Federal officials have denied requests from Indiana and Louisiana for exemption from the new medical loss ratio requirements that prescribe insurance companies spend at least 80 percent of premium revenue on patient care, according to a Bloomberg News report.
